About Us / Contact us
The Reds is a (mostly) women's triathlon team (...we've
expanded to include RedLADS! :-) based out of Kansas City. We
are athletes ranging from 18 - 65 (!!) years young who are training
for Sprint, Olympic, Half Ironman and full Ironman distances races
(what are these?). Some of us come to The Reds with triathlon
experience - some of us start with learning to put our face in the
water and walk/jogging a block! No experience necessary - just
a willingness to try, a sense of humor, and a bad-arse cheering voice : )

During the clinics, we cover the basics of swim technique, getting
faster, & open water swimming. We analyze your swim stroke to
determine what you should focus on in the water to prepare you for
the 2015 triathlon season.
These clinics are a great way to ensure you use your time in the
pool during the off season productively. Clinics are for all levels.

The amazing part about The Reds is the athletes willing to step up and give triathlon a go. Never underestimate an athlete by how they look or the amount of time in the sport. Every race you attend will show you anything is possible and everyone can do this. Triathlon is a lifetime achievement and, as with anything in life, big hairy challenges promises opportunity and the discovery of greatness.
